RESOLUTION NO. 12,337
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO AMR
CONSTRUCTION LLC FOR SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION AT
FOREST HEIGHTS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the 2004 Bond Capital Improvements Program allocated funds for
School Area Pedestrian Safety Improvement, and favorable bid prices allowed
completion of these projects leaving a balance for additional project development
including this project for Forest Heights Elementary School Sidewalk Project, Bid #06-
263; and
WHEREAS, AMR Construction, LLC submitted the lowest responsible and
responsive bid, in the amount of $110,944.94 ($100,859.04 plus 10% contingencies).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
AMR Construction, LLC, for construction of sidewalk installation improvements for
Forest Heights Elementary School Project.
Section 2. Funding for the project is available from several remaining balances of
2004 Bond Capital Improvement School Area Pedestrian Safety Improvement funds
(318- 220 -SW11 plus other fund balances), in the amount of $110,944.94 ($100,859.04
plus 10% contingencies).
Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its adoption.
