3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH TYMCO, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED THREE HUNDRED THIRTEEN THOUSAND, NINETY
6 DOLLARS ($313,090.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR
7 THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) MODEL 600 TYMCO REGENERATIVE
8 AIR SWEEPER FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET
9 OPERATIONS DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, the Public Works Department Street Operations Division has demonstrated a need to
12 purchase one(1)Model 600 TYMCO Regenerative Air Sweeper to replace an aged,high maintenance unit;
13 and,
14 WHEREAS, vendor selection for one (1) Model 600 TYMCO Regenerative Air Sweeper, meeting
15 the specifications needed,was made through the Houston-Galveston Area Council Contract No. SW04-20;
16 and,
17 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for one(1)Model 600 TYMCO Regenerative Air Sweeper shall
18 not exceed Three Hundred Thirteen Thousand, Ninety Dollars ($313,090.00), plus applicable taxes and
19 fees.
20 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement with
23 TYMCO, Inc., for the purchase of one(1) Model 600 TYMCO Regenerative Air Sweeper, in an amount
24 not to exceed Three Hundred Thirteen Thousand,Ninety Dollars($313,090.00),plus applicable taxes and
25 fees,for the Public Works Department Street Operations Division.
26 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in Public Works Operations Account No. 205409-
27 72300-S40B665.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.
33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
34 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
