3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH DELL TECHNOLOGIES, IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY THOUSAND, THIRTY-SIX AND 40/100
6 DOLLARS ($50,036.40), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR
7 THE PURCHASE OF FORTY (40) DELL OPTIPLEX TOWER PLUS
8 COMPUTERS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR
9 OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, during the recent Microsoft 365 upgrade, it was determined that the Little Rock Fire
12 Training Division, as well as several other Fire Stations, were in need of new computers; and,
13 WHEREAS, vendor selection for forty (40) Dell OptiPlex Tower Plus Computers, meeting the
14 specifications needed, was made utilizing the Arkansas State Contract No. C000001005008; and,
15 WHEREAS, the total purchase price for forty (40) Dell OptiPlex Tower Plus Computers shall not
16 exceed Fifty Thousand,Thirty-Six and 40/100 Dollars($50,036.40), plus applicable taxes and fees.
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement with
20 Dell Technologies for the purchase of forty(40) Dell OptiPlex Tower Plus Computers, in an amount not to
21 exceed Fifty Thousand,Thirty-Six and 40/100 Dollars($50,036.40),plus applicable taxes and fees, for the
22 Little Rock Fire Department.
23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Little Rock Fire Department Special Project Act
24 833, Account No. 210519-500B250.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
