3 A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 5, 2006, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE ALLEY
5 RIGHT -OF -WAY, LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 102, ORIGINAL
6 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK (BLOCK BORDERED BY W. 2 "D, W. 3RD,
7 BROADWAY AND SPRING STREETS), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
8 ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
11 Board of Directors vacate and abandon the alley right -of -way located within Block 102,
12 Original City of Little Rock (block bordered by W. 2nd, W. 3,d, Broadway and Spring
13 Streets), pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54-
14 104, in the City of Little Rock.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
18 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
19 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 51" day of September, 2006.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
21 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
22 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
23 in the City of Little Rock.
