3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH PRECISION DELTA CORPORATION,IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED TWELVE THOUSAND,
6 FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE AND 75/100 DOLLARS ($112,481.75),
7 PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES,FOR THE BULK PURCHASE OF
8 PRACTICE AND DUTY AMMUNITION FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
9 POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department be equipped and trained with reliable
12 tools and equipment; and,
13 WHEREAS, the bulk purchase of ammunition utilized by the Little Rock Police Department will
14 support the Practice and Duty Ammunition requirements for the In-Service Training, Annual Pistol and
15 Rifle Qualifications,Traditional Recruit Schools, along with Remedial ind Specialized Firearms Training;
16 and,
17 WHEREAS,Vendor selection was made utilizing the Arkansas Ammunition Purchasing Contract No.
18 S000000047/Outline Agreement No. 4600050105.
19 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Precision Delta Corporation,
22 for the bulk purchase Practice and Duty Ammunition, in an amount not to exceed of One Hundred Twelve
23 Thousand, Four Hundred Eighty-One and 75/100 Dollars($112,481.75), plus applicable taxes and fees,for
24 the Little Rock Police Department.
25 Section 2. Funding for this purchase are allocated in the Little Rock Police Department's General
26 Fund,Account No. 105220-60050.
27 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
29 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
30 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
31 resolution.
32 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
33 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
