3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MHC KENWORTH, IN AN AMOUNT NOT
5 TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED
6 FIFTY-NINE AND 99/100 DOLLARS ($250,859.99), PLUS APPLICABLE
7 TAXES AND FEES,FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE(1)2025 KENWORTH
8 T880 DUMP TRUCK FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARMTENT SOLID
9 WASTE DIVISION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division has demonstrated a need to purchase
12 one(1)2025 Kenworth T880 Dump Truck to replace an aged, high maintenance unit; and,
13 WHEREAS, vendor selection for one (1) 2025 Kenworth T880 Dump Truck, meeting the
14 specifications needed, was made through the Sourcewell Contract No. 060920-KTC;and,
15 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for one(1)2025 Kenworth T880 Dump Truck shall not exceed
16 Two Hundred Fifty Thousand,Eight Hundred Fifty-Nine and 99/100 Dollars($250,859.99),plus applicable
17 taxes and fees.
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement with
21 MHC Kenworth for the purchase of one(1)2025 Kenworth T880 Dump Truck,in an amount not to exceed
22 Two Hundred Fifty Thousand,Eight Hundred Fifty-Nine and 99/100 Dollars($250,859.99),plus applicable
23 taxes and fees, for the Public Works Department Solid Waste Division.
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in TREA Solid Waste Vehicles,Account No.271409-
25 G061AR40C, utilizing American Rescue Plan Act Funds.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
