3 A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT LEE MAYFIELD AND MARVIN
4 HENDERSON TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE
5 YORKWOOD RECREATIONAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 3 OF
6 PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, WHICH IS NOT LOCATED WITHIN
7 THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
8 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Yorkwood Recreational Improvement District No. 3 ("the District") was created
11 originally as a Pulaski County Improvement District;however, it is now located within the corporate limits
12 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas("the City"), and legislative actions must be taken by the Little Rock
13 Board of Directors; and,
14 WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Board of Commissioners due to the resignation of John Lamb,
15 and there is a desire to appoint Lee Mayfield to fill this vacancy. In addition,a vacancy exists on the Board
16 of Commissioners due to the resignation of Jerry McClure, and there is a desire to appoint Marvin
17 Henderson to fill this vacancy.
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The following appoints to the District Board of Commissioners:
21 (a) Lee Mayfield is appointed to fill the term of John Lamb; and,
22 (b) Marvin Henderson is appointed to fill the term of Jerry McClure.
23 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 3. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
