An area just west of Little Rock, going out on Kanis Road is an area where an additional antenna site is required to serve this area. This will serve an area in the western edges of the city and into the county where the topography is hilly and where several ridges create a negative impact on coverage. A thorough search of the area has not produced a structure by which we can mount antenna, therefore we are moving forward with having one created. There is a need for an additional structure in this area. The Equivalent Isotropically Radiated Power (EIPR) for this installation is 500 watts or less. The current FCC rule (reference: Code of Federal Regulation, Title 47- Telecommunications, Chapter 1-Federal Communications Commission, Part 24-Personal Communications Services, Subpart E-Broadband PCS, Section 24.232-Power and antenna limits). This installation, as designed, meets the FCC requirements.
