Dear Torrence,
As discussed today we are wanting to change the zoning of 4621 Asher Avenue from 12 to
PZD.
We wish to use the property as an event center, retail and storage. We plan to rent the event
space out to an event planner and we also plan to rent space to someone who wants to run a
flea market or sell used furniture and other items.There is ample parking in the front of the
property for that use.
We have spoken to Linda Reed of First National Title Company and she says that there is no
Bill of Assurance for this subdivision.
Planned hours of operation would be generally 8-5 weekdays. Friday and Saturday evenings
would be when it would be used as an event center. We would most likely open on Sundays
from noon to five. We shouldn't need more than 10 employees.
We do not plan to further develop the site and will operate within the existing building with no
plan to for new construction or increasing the building's footprint.
