RE: Caple event center and mixed commercial use
Answers to Development Staff Comments:
1. I have attached an email from Linda Reed of First National Title. She did a search and there is no bill
of assurance 2. I am attaching a plan for the building.
3. Storage use. We have one area rented for storage of antique vehicles. The other items stored there
are items that will be put up for sale in a flea market type setting in the event center. One section will
have building materials for real estate projects we engage in. We also will store personal items in the
back section, for example our boat in the winter.
4. For parking we have approximately 30,000 sq ft from the front of the building to the fence in the
front. The fence is approximately 30 feet from Asher Avenue.
5. The types of events that we expect are flea market/used furniture sales inside the main event area.
We plan to rent the space to a third party for events such as weddings, wedding receptions, birthday
and anniversary parties.
6. We do not plan to ticket or charge a cover for patrons to attend. The third party planner/renter of
the space will be responsible for anything of that sort.
7. The person(s) renting the space for an event will bring in a DJ or band for entertainment.
8. We aren’t going to apply for any alcohol sales at any event.
