Home My WebLink About16235 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,235 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ARKANSAS HEART HOSPITAL, IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-EIGHT THOUSAND, ONE 6 HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($58,125.00), TO PROVIDE 7 ANNUAL PHYSICALS FOR LITTLE ROCK FIREFIGHTERS; AND FOR 8 OTHER PURPOSES. 9 10 WHEREAS,annual physicals are required for Little Rock Firefighters; and, 11 WHEREAS, Bid No. 2342-0 was issued to provide annual physicals for Little Rock Firefighters, and 12 Arkansas Heart Hospital was the lowest, most responsive bidder out of two(2)bids received. 13 WHEREAS,the amount to provide annual physicals for Little Rock Firefighters shall not exceed Fifty- 14 Eight Thousand, One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars($58,125.00). 15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with 18 Arkansas Heart Hospital, in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Eight Thousand, One Hundred Twenty-Five 19 Dollars($58,125.00),to provide annual physicals for Little Rock Firefighters. 20 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in the Benefits Consulting Special Project, Account 21 No. 210279-S00B384. 22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 26 resolution. 27 Section 4. Repealer.
