Applicant Comments for Proposed Development
Applicant Responses are due no later than Friday October 13, 2023. Please
submit revised site plans, if applicable, along with any written responses. All
documents should be submitted to this email address for review.
RE: Bassett Family Care Facility — Special use Permit (Z-9850)

Development Staff Comments:
1. Provide Survey of property.
2. Provide total square footage of the residence.
3. Provide additional information on the people who will be residing in the family care
facility (recovering substance abusers, disabled persons, homeless persons, etc....)
4. Provide detailed information as to what types of services that will be provided to the
residents.
5. Will there be any Staff on site?
6. Will residents drive/own their own vehicle?
7. If any residents are going to own vehicles or if staff will be reporting to the residence,
please provide a parking plan.

RE: Bassett Family Care Facility
1. Survey Attached
2. The home is 1800 SQ Feet
3. The clients are disabled, but ambulatory and independently mobile. The
client will need only minimum assistance with daily living, such as
bathing, grooming, shaving, preparing special diets, routine skin care.
The clients will be provided with transportation to and from doctors'
appointments. Residents will be able to verbalize needs. We will accept
Veterans and homeless clients. Drug recovering substance abusers.
(A temporary living space for emergency disaster impacted disabled
individuals, if room is available)'ex. Tornado
4. We will provide food, shelter, bathing, grooming, activities (such as
gardening, fishing), social events, (Church if client wishes)
transportation, exercise, compassionate care, cleaning, assist washing
clothes, personal care, access to online Wi-Fi, celebrate holidays. Teach
some computer skills, music, TV. Access to Skilled Home Health visits if
needed. Access to PCP. Visitors are allowed with stipulations.
5. Residents will not drive their own vehicles.
6. No parking plan needed.
