3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH HANN ENTERPRISES, IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED SEVENTY-THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($73,000.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE
7 PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF NEW SITE AMENITIES AT
8 INTERSTATE PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Department Staff has identified the need for new bleachers,
11 benches and picnic tables to be located throughout Interstate Park; and,
12 WHEREAS,residents have supported this project for many years and are excited to see improvements
13 to Interstate Park; and,
14 WHEREAS,these new improvements are much needed,as most of the current amenities are past their
15 maintainable life; and,
16 WHEREAS,this purchase will be made utilizing the TIPS Contract Cooperative Purchasing Program,
17 Contract No. 23080101; and,
18 WHEREAS,the total contract amount for the purchase of the new bleachers,benches and picnic tables
19 for Interstate Park is not to exceed Seventy-Three Thousand Dollars ($73,000.00), plus applicable taxes
20 and fees.
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
22 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
23 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Hann Enterprises in an
24 amount not to exceed a total cost of Seventy-Three Thousand Dollars ($73,000.00), plus applicable taxes
25 and fees, for the purchase of the new bleachers, benches and picnic tables for Interstate Park.
26 Section 2. Funds are available from the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds,
27 Account No. 332459-B45D01 1.
28 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
29 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
30 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
31 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
32 resolution.
33 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
34 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
