3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH MCCLELLAND CONSULTING
5 ENGINEERS, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED
6 FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($115,000.00), TO PROVIDE DESIGN
7 SERVICES FOR THE HINDMAN PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT;
8 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Department Staff has identified the need for various improve-
11 ments to Hindman Park; and,
12 WHEREAS, residents have requested improvements to Hindman Park since the closure of the
13 Hindman Golf Course and would be excited to see new design plans; and,
14 WHEREAS, McClelland Consulting Engineers, Inc., was selected through the City's Statement of
15 Qualifications; and,
16 WHEREAS, the total contract amount for the Hindman Park Improvement Project is not to exceed
17 One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars($115,000.00).
18 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with McClelland Consulting
21 Engineers, Inc., in an amount not to exceed a total cost of One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars
22 ($115,000.00), for the Hindman Park Improvement Project.
23 Section 2. Funds are available from Parks & Recreation Special Projects, Account No. 108459-
24 S45C372.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
