- Held regular meetings with Little Rock Housing and Development staff regarding
purchase of property (Ruby Dean, Shine, and Kevin Howard)
November 2021
- Purchase of Property from City of Little Rock
• January —April 2022
- Met with Kwendeche regarding securing a site plan of the property
- Met with Neighborhood Alliance for introductions of the Celebrate! Maya Project
and share our plans for the property
- Spoke with city about possible assistance with preparing the property for future
renovation
- Met with City Code enforcers about the safety of the property, as homeless
have historically used the property during the winter
- Requested structural assessment of property from two different construction
specialists to ascertain stability of foundation and utility needs: electricity, gas,
plumbing, etc.
• April 2022-April 2024
- Fundraising campaign to raise funds to begin renovation of the house
- Apply to City zoning office for rezoning of the property to create a multi -purpose
work and office space

- "Groundbreaking" Ceremony
