11. Segmented Concrete Block Wall - For walls under 3 feet tail Including bused first course - Install Versalock
wall system in accordance with Manufacturers specficabons. Use Charcoal colored dock. Constructa com-
pacted foundation 2 feet wide and 5 inches deep AHTD Class 7 aggregate8" below finished grade. Install 12
inches of Balast behind the wall separated from soil backfill with ron-woven, 4 ounce, geotextile fabric (Mini
140C or similar). Glue down cap docks with exterior grade adhesive. Apply 2, W thick beads per cap block
minimum.
For walls over 3 feet tall including buried first course - provide design drawings prepared by a registered engi-
neer of proposed wall constructiOn for review by Landscape Archded.
12. Flagstone Drainage Channel - Select weathered, flat stone approxmately 12"-18'x 12"x 2" thick. Placein a
tight pattern on a graded, compacted, subgrade. Cover subgrade win 4 ounce, non -woven, geotextile fabric.
Slope to drain and resist erosion- Infill between flagstones with 1' wished gravel. Install below mowable height
of lawn.
13. Mulch: Install shredded hardwood or shredded cypress bark mulch 3" deep in all planting beds and around all
trees. Depth shall be measured after mulch has been watered. Do not place mulch on top of groundcovers,
shrubs, shrub branches, or within 1'• of tree trunks and shrub or perennial crowns. Cover tree basins and soil
rims with 2" of mulch. "Tuck" mulch behind steel edging and behind etrbto reduce erosion. (See Detail)
