Permit for 712 East 11th, By-Lites
This memo serves as administrative approval from the Little Rock Historic District
Commission (LRHDC) allowing the property owner of 712 East 11th Street, which is
located within the MacArthur Park Historic District, permission to obtain a building
permit for repairs. The owner of the property was given approval by the LRHDC on 11
February to rehabilitate the structure due to tornado damages. A copy of the required
Certificate of Appropriateness is enclosed for your referral.

SUBJECT: Permit for 712 East 11th Street, Bylites
This memo serves as administrative approval from the Little Rock Historic District
Commission allowing the property owner and/or contractor of 712 East 11th Street
(located within the MacArthur Park Historic District) permission to obtain a building
permit. I understand that the permit is for emergency repairs due to the damage
caused by the January tornado. These repairs are allowed within the local ordinance
historic district without a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA); as such, and meeting all
city, building and health regulations, the application for a building permit should be
approved. The property owner has made application to come before the LRHDC on
11 February to receive a COA for additional structural repairs.
