HomeMy WebLinkAbout16182 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,182 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO 4 EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH ENTERPRISE FM TRUST, IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION, EIGHT HUNDRED 6 EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,885,000.00), PLUS 7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR A FIVE (5)-YEAR CONTRACT 8 TO LEASE VEHICLES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE 9 DEPARTMENT AND OTHER CITY DEPARTMENTS; AND FOR 10 OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS, it is critical that the Little Rock Police Department and other City Departments be 13 equipped with reliable forms of vehicular transportation; and, 14 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department will lease seventy-one (71) vehicles for the Little Rock 15 Police Department and other City Departments;and, 16 WHEREAS, the total cost for the lease will be in an amount not to exceed One Million, Eight 17 Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars($1,885,000.00), plus applicable taxes and fees;and, 18 WHEREAS, the annual cost for the lease will be in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred 19 Seventy-Seven Thousand Dollars($377,000.00), plus a minimal fee assessment for immediate processing 20 and applicable taxes and fees;and, 21 WHEREAS,the City will utilize a Source-Well Agreement for the lease of these vehicles;and, 22 WHEREAS, Enterprise FM Trust is the financing mechanism of Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc., 23 and Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc., is the attorney in fact and servicer of Enterprise FM Trust. 24 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 25 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 26 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5)-year contract with 27 Enterprise FM Trust, by Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc., its attorney in fact, for the leasing of seventy 28 (71) vehicles for the Little Rock Police Department and other City Departments in an amount not to 29 exceed One Million,Eight Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars($1,885,000.00),plus applicable taxes, 30 fees and fee assessments. 31 Section 2. Funding for the lease of the vehicles will be available in Fleet Replacement Fund, 32 Account No. 108609-S60C471-72300. 1Page 1 of 21 1 Section 3. Severability. In the event ally title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 2 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 3 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 4 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 5 resolution. 6 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this resolution are 7 hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. 8 ADOPTED: December 12,2023 9 ATTr .
