3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SCOTT EQUIPMENT GROUP, IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND, SEVEN
6 HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS ($200,705.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES
7 AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) VOLVO L7OH WHEEL
8 LOADER FOR THE FLEET SERVICES VEHICLE STORAGE FACILITY;
9 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Fleet Services Vehicle Storage Facility has demonstrated a need to purchase one(1)
12 Volvo L7OH Wheel Loader to replace an aged, high maintenance unit currently in the City's fleet; and,
13 WHEREAS, vendor selection for one (1) Volvo L7OH Wheel Loader, meeting the specifications
14 needed,was made through Sourcewell Contract No. 011723-VCE;and,
15 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for one(1)Volvo L7OH Wheel Loader shall not to exceed Two
16 Hundred Thousand, Seven Hundred Five Dollars($205,705.00),plus applicable taxes and fees.
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Smart Automotive Group
20 for the purchase of one(1)Volvo L7OH Wheel Loader in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Thousand,
21 Seven Hundred Five Dollars($205,705.00),plus applicable taxes and fees,to be used by the Fleet Services
22 Vehicle Storage Facility.
23 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated from Fleet Services Vehicle Storage Operations,
24 Account No. 601001-72200.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
