3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
4 A CONTRACT WITH TEECO SAFETY, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
5 EXCEED TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($275,000.00), PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE
7 PURCHASE OF UNIFORMS AND UNIFORM ACCESSORIES FOR THE
8 LITTLE ROCK POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS,the Little Rock Police Department is in need of uniforms and uniform accessories; and,
11 WHEREAS,by utilizing the Sourcewell Contract No.040920-BLA,the Little Rock Police Department
12 can purchase of Police Uniforms and Uniform Accessories from Teeco Safety, Inc., for total cost not to
13 exceed Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars($275,000.00), plus applicable taxes and fees; and,
14 WHEREAS,staff recommends that a contract be awarded to Teeco Safety, Inc.,for an annual contract
15 • term of one (1)-year with the option of two (2) additional one (1)-year terms beginning January I, 2024,
16 for the purchase of Police Uniforms and Uniform Accessories.
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a one year contract with Teeco Safety, Inc.,
20 with two(2)additional one(1)-year renewal term options,for the purchase of Police Uniforms and Uniform
21 Accessories, in annual amount not to exceed of Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars
22 ($275,000.00), plus applicable taxes and fees.
23 Section 2. Funding for this purchase is available from the Little Rock Police Department General
24 Fund, Account No. 105220-60050.
25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
