THE BUILDING SHALL BE PRE-ENGINEERED BUILDING. THE BUILDING SHALL BE A MANUFACTURER'S STANDARD PREFABRICATED METAL STRUCTURE OF THE INSIDE AREA SHOWN. OVERALL DIMENSIONS AND CONSTRUCTION DETAILS MAY VARY TO SUIT MANUFACTURER'S STANDARD DESIGN WITH PRIOR APPROVAL FROM THE OWNER. 2. THE BUILDING SHALL BE DESIGNED AND FABRICATED ACCORDING TO AISC (AMERICAN INSTITUTE OF STEEL CONSTRUCTION) AND AISI (AMERICAN IRON AND STEEL INSTITUTE) LATEST SPECIFICATIONS. THE DIMENSIONAL TOLERANCES OUTLINED IN THE AWS (AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY) CODE UNDER WORKMANSHIP AND THE TOLERANCES APPLICABLE TO ROLL FORM STEEL UNDER THE AISC "STANDARD MILL PRACTICE" SECTION SHALL BE REQUIRED IN THE FABRICATION OF THE STEEL BUILDING FRAMES. 3. A COMPLETE DESIGN ANALYSIS SHOWING ALL CALCULATIONS FOR THE RIGID FRAMES, GIRTS, AND PURLINS, AND A LAYOUT OF ANCHOR BOLTS AND OTHER EMBEDDED ITEMS SHALL BE SUBMITTED FOR APPROVAL WITH THE SHOP DRAWINGS. SHOP DRAWINGS SHALL INCLUDE DETAILS OF ALL MAIN MEMBERS, TYPICAL CONNECTIONS (SHOWING BOLT HOLES AND WELDS), AND ERECTION DRAWINGS. 4. THE BUILDING SHALL BE DESIGNED TO SUPPORT ALL DOORS, EQUIPMENT AND ALL OTHER DEVICES. ADDITIONAL STRUCTURAL STEEL, GIRTS OR PURLINS SHALL BE PLACED IN CONVENIENT LOCATIONS FOR ATTACHMENT OF ALL EQUIPMENT AND DEVICES. CROSS BRACING SHALL BE USED TO TAKE LATERAL LOADS IN THE BUILDING'S LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION. 5. THE FOUNDATIONS SHOWN ARE ESTIMATES FOR THE BUILDING TYPE SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS AND ARE TO BE USED AS A GUIDE FOR THE BUILDING SUPPLIED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL USE IN HIS DESIGN THE BASIC CRITERIA SHOWN BY THIS DRAWING, SUCH AS SLAB THICKNESS, CONTROL JOINTS, DESIGN LOADS AND MINIMUM DEPTH OF FOOTING. FOOTINGS SHALL BE SIZED FOR AN ALLOWABLE SOIL BEARING PRESSURE OF 4000 PSF WHERE BEARING ON ROCK AND 3000 PSF WHERE BEARING ON SANDY GRAVEL OR GRAVEL (GW/GP). 6. DESIGN THE BUILDING SYSTEM FOR THE LIVE LOADS OR SNOW LOADS (WHICHEVER IS GREATER) INDICATED AND A COLLATERAL LOAD OF 5 PSF IN ADDITION TO THE BUILDING DEAD LOADS, WIND LOADS AND SEISMIC LOADS. PARAMETERS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SNOW, WIND AND SEISMIC LOADS ARE LISTED IN THE DESIGN LOADS ON THIS SHEET. INCLUDE THE EFFECTS OF UNBALANCED SNOW LOAD, SNOWDRIFT, SLIDING SNOW, RAIN ON SNOW AND WINDWARD AND LEEWARD WIND PRESSURE AND SUCTION LOADS. 7. ROOF PURLINS SHALL BE DESIGNED FOR AN ADDITIONAL CONCENTRATED LIVE LOAD OF 300 POUNDS LOCATED ANYWHERE ALONG THE LENGTH OF THE PURLIN. 8. ALL CONCRETE SHALL CONFORM TO ACI (AMERICAN CONCRETE INSTITUTE) 301 AND SHALL DEVELOP A MINIMUM COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH (f'c) OF 3000 PSI ® 28 DAYS. CONCRETE COVER ON REINFORCEMENT SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS: CONCRETE CAST AGAINST EARTH — 3 INCHES CONCRETE EXPOSED TO EARTH OR WEATHER — 2 INCHES CONCRETE SLABS — 2 INCHES 9. REINFORCING STEEL SHALL BE ASTM A 615, GRADE 60 FOR BARS OR ASTM A 185 FOR WELDED WIRE FABRIC. REINFORCING STEEL SHALL BE LAPPED AS SPECIFIED IN ACI 318-02. GROUT SHALL BE NON—SHRINK WITH COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH (f'c) OF 4500 PSI © 28 DAYS. 10.
