HomeMy WebLinkAboutCover Letter September 15, 2023 Attn: Romie Price Department of Planning & Development 723 West Markham Little Rock, AR 72201 RE: 624 North Spruce Street Covered Deck/Accessory Building Variance Request Mr. Price; Please accept this letter to serve as our application for the above reference submittal. We wish to be placed on the October 19, 2023 Board of Adjustment Meeting agenda. We are requesting a variance to allow the construction of an accessory building in the rear yard setback that will exceed the 30% area limit of the rear yard (paragraph a.2.c of Section 36-156) and allow the encroachment of the side yard setback (paragraph d.2 of Section 36-254). The owner wishes to have an existing deck, that already encroaches on the side yard setback and property line along F street, to be expanded and provide roof coverage. The owner also wishes to have a detached 1 car garage in the rear yard that is accessed from the dedicated alley abutting the property. Enclosed please find a check for the review fee in the amount of $105.00. If any additional information is desired, please let us know. We thank you for your consideration.
