3 A RESOLUTION TO SET DECEMBER 5,2023,AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC
4 HEARING ON THE REQUEST TO ABANDON THE SIXTY (60)-FOOT
5 WIDE EXCESS COOPER ORBIT ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY, LOCATED
6 BETWEEN PANTHER BRANCH DRIVE AND KANIS ROAD, IN THE
7 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS (G-23-489); AND FOR OTHER
8 PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
11 abandon the sixty(60)-foot wide excess Cooper Orbit Road right-of-way, located between Panther Branch
12 Drive and Kanis Road.
13 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the notice of appeal of the above-mentioned right-of-way, shall be held at
16 a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in the Centre at University Park,
17 6401 West 12`" Street, Little Rock, Arkansas at 6:00 PM on December 5, 2023.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
19 by Arkansas State Law by publication once a week for two(2)consecutive weeks in a newspaper published
20 in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
21 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed Improvement District may
22 view the documents on file with the City Clerk, 2"d Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham, Little Rock,
23 Arkansas;or,to contact counsel for the proposed Improvement District: G. Robert Hardin, Hardin&Grace,
24 P.A., 500 Main Street, Suite A,North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72114, (501)378-7900.
25 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
29 resolution.
30 Section 5. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
31 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
