Home My WebLink About16162 RESOLUTION NO. 16,162 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH GAMETIME IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO 5 EXCEED NINETY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($90,000.00), FOR THE 6 CONSTRUCTION OF SHADE STRUCTURES AT THE SOUTHWEST 7 COMMUNITY CENTER POOL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 8 9 WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Department Staff has identified the need for the installation of 10 shade structures at the Southwest Community Center Pool; and, 11 WHEREAS, Southwest Community Center area residents and center users have requested shade 12 structures and general improvements to the pool deck for many years;and, 13 WHEREAS,the project was quoted utilizing OMNIA Contract Cooperative Purchasing Program,No. 14 2017001134, for a total contract amount of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00), to GameTime for the 15 construction of shade structures at the Southwest Community Center Pool. 16 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with GameTime, in an amount not 19 to exceed Ninety Thousand Dollars($90,000.00),for the construction of shade structures at the Southwest 20 Community Center Pool. 21 Section 2. Funding is available will American Rescue Plan Act Funds, TREA Community Centers, 22 Account No.271459-G0601 AR45C. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju- 25 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect 26 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso- 27 lution. 28 Section 4. Repealer.
