3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ACS PLAYGROUND ADVENTURES, FOR A
5 TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT OF SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS
6 ($60,000.00), FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PAVILION AT PANKEY
7 PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS,the Parks&Recreation Department Staff has identified the need for a pavilion at Pankey
10 Park;and,
11 WHEREAS,citizens in the Pankey Park Neighborhood and the surrounding area have supported this
12 project for many years as there is currently no pavilion, shad structure or meeting place in the park, and
13 are excited to see improvements be made to Pankey Park;and,
14 WHEREAS,the project was quoted utilizing Sourcewell Agreement Cooperative Purchasing Program
15 No. 012621-PPC,for a total contract amount of Sixty Thousand Dollars($60,000.00),to ACS Playground
16 Adventures,for the construction of a pavilion at Pankey Park.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with ACS Playground
20 Adventures, in an amount not to exceed a total cost of Sixty Thousand Dollars($60,000.00), for the con-
21 struction of a pavilion at Pankey Park.
22 Section 2. Funds are available from the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds,
23 Pankey Park,Account No. 332459-B45D009.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju-
26 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect
27 as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the reso-
28 lution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws,ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
