HomeMy WebLinkAbout16157T- 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,157 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH FLEMING CONTROLS AND POWER, IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-FIVE THOUSAND, FOUR 6 HUNDRED FORTY-FIVE AND 70/100 DOLLARS ($55,445.70), PLUS 7 APPLICABLE TAXES FEES AND TAXES, FOR THE INSTALLATION 8 AND POWERING OF LIGHTING POLES AT THE LITTLE ROCK ZOO; 9 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 10 11 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Zoo requests authorization for the installation and powering of lighting 12 poles and various equipment at the Little Rock Zoo; and, 13 WHEREAS, after a competitive bidding process, Bid No. 2267, it was determined that Fleming 14 Controls and Power,was the sole bidder with a bid total of Fifty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred Forty-Five 15 and 70/100 Dollars ($55,445.70), plus applicable taxes and fees, for the installation and powering of 16 lighting poles and various equipment at the Little Rock Zoo. 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Fleming Controls and 20 Power, in an amount not to exceed Fifty-Five Thousand, Four Hundred Forty-Five and 70/100 Dollars I21 ($55,445.70), plus applicable taxes and fees, for the installation and powering of lighting poles and various 22 equipment at the Little Rock Zoo. 23 Section 2. The Little Rock Zoo Power and Pole Project will be funded from the Zoo Facilities 24 Maintenance, Account No. 106570-63211. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 29 resolution. 30 Section 4. Repealer.
