by the Planning Commission that evening.
Your item was approved, and it has been forwarded to the Board of Directors for a hearing by
staff. This letter is to inform you that the item will be heard at the June 4, 2002 Little Rock City -
Board of Directors meeting. The Board of Directors meets on the second floor of City Hall, 500

Thank you for talking with me yesterday on the telephone and answering my questions
regarding the new extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction area. As I stated in our
conversation, we own approximately fifteen acres which was used by the previous owner
as a home and horse farm and which we now use as a home and wholesale used
automobile business. We do intend to have horses and other livestock in the future. We
respectfully request zoning appropriate for these uses.
We first purchased our house and ten acres in October 2000. In February 2001, we
purchased five adjoining acres. Surveys from both purchases are enclosed herewith.
There are several tax parcel numbers for the fifteen acres: 53R0300004401,
53R0300004402, 53R00004403, 53R00004700, 53R0310000800. Our property includes
our house and four outbuildings: a well house, two barns, and a farm equipment shed.
The business Dale operates on our property is an Arkansas corporation and is a licensed
used motor vehicle dealer pursuant to Arkansas law. Currently, there is only one
employee, Dale Pectol, and he operates the business solely as a wholesale automobile
dealership. He does not currently offer automobiles for retail sale, however the business
is licensed to do so and we need to preserve the ability to do so in the future. We request
that approximately one acre beginning at the Southwest corner of the property be zoned
appropriate for this use. The business office is located in the barn immediately behind
our house and beard the physical address 2125 Lambert Road I assume the zoning
would need to include this bam as for appropriate use. The federal tax identification
number for the business is 71-0821327. As you requested, I have enclosed a copy of the
federal tax identification number acceptance letter. You will notice that the acceptance
letter bears a former address, so I have also enclosed copies of two additional proofs of
business bearing the current address: (1) Arkansas Sales and Use Tax Permit and (2)
Arkansas Used Motor Vehicle License. The legal business name, current address, and
