Hi Romie! I've left you a couple of messages hoping to ask you a few questions about the status of PCD requirements for STRs. I am having trouble keeping up with which meetings are actually
being held and which ones are discussing the STRs. I have planned on attending the last couple of meetings (including the one tonight) but keep finding out from others that the STRs
are not being discussed. The city and state are obviously struggling to find a solution and I'm concerned that this process is not being handled with a long-term vision for what's best
for our city. In light of this, I wish to postpone my application for 90 days as I continue following what regulations will be put in place and considering whether or not I wish to
proceed. If the city decides in favor of a conditional usage license, then I would plan to move forward with an application. However, I strongly feel that rezoning a 1930 Hillcrest
property like mine is a bad move. I don't want that for our neighborhood and I believe the neighbors will be against this also. I think it is a short-sighted plan that could potentially
allow for different usage if we were ever forced to sell in the future. A conditional usage license that is approved only while under my ownership of this property preserves the standard
I uphold in running this business and protects the long-term integrity of the neighborhood by keeping this property residential.
Thank you for your time. Please let me know if you need further information from me at this time.
