Dear Ms. Guthrie:
Enclosed please find a footprint of the exterior of the house at 415 E. 8th Street. I would
like permission to restore the privacy fence that once stood on the east side of the lot.
The fence on the north side continues to stand and it would tie into an existing chain link
fence on the south end of the property. This new fence would be made of wood and
would stand 6' tall and 85' long.
I would also like permission to add a deck onto the SE corner of the house. The deck
would be level with the back door and would be 24' x 9' and would fit into the back
corner of the house with 2 steps down to the ground. This deck will not be visible to the
street from any angle once the fence is restored. Also, I would like to add a temporary
storage unit made of a fiberglass wood. This 6' x 8' unit would be attached to the deck
and would not be seen from the street. I do not know when this storage unit would be
replaced as it will be done as funds become available.

Dear Ms Guthrie:
As per your request I am forwarding the photos of the east side of the property, 415
East 8`" street. I hope these photos will help in see the type of fence that is remaining and
how the new fence will look. The fence will extended South to the rear property line
ending at a existing chain link fence belonging to the property to the South of ours.
The railing around the deck will have built in seating and will support a drop weight of
three hundred pounds.
If I can be of any other help please let me know.
