Anne Guthrie, Historic Preservation Administrator 27 January 1999 SUBJECT: Permit for 1402 Commerce This memo serves as administrative approval from the Little Rock Historic District Commission allowing Lemmons Construction Company, agent for the property owner of 1402 Commerce (located within the MacArthur Park Historic District) permission to obtain a building permit. I understand that the permit is for repairs of the structure due to damage caused by the January 21 tornado; all repairs will be performed in conformance to the structure and will not introduce new materials, alter the outline or change the configuration. General repairs and maintenance of the structure is allowed within the local ordinance historic district without a Certificate of Appropriateness (CCIA); as such, and meeting all city, building and health regulations, the application for a building permit should be approved. If exterior changes or improvements are made that require a COA (see the Design Review Guidelines: MacArthur Park Historic District), the LRHDC will be notified and appropriate actions taken for a public hearing,
