That Ordinance No. 18,383 is hereby repealed and removing from the Official Zoning Map, 19 the classification POD, Planned Office District, titled Gray Short -Form POD and the R-2, Single -Family 20 District, zoning is restored to the property described as Lot 24, Block 2, Altheimer's Addition to the City 21 of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. 22 Section 2. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, 23 Arkansas, and Designated District Map be and is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary 24 to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof. 25 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 26 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 27 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and 28 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 29 ordinance. 30 31 32 33 Section 4. Arthur Street be revoked and the previous R-2 Single Family zoning be restored. None Staff recommends approval of the revocation. The Planning Commission voted 10 ayes, 0 noes and 1 absent to recommend approval of the revocation. On October 17, 2000, the Board passed Ordinance No. 18,383 establishing Gray Short -form POD at 2001 N. Arthur Street. The POD zoning allowed the 200 square foot accessory structure on the property to be used for an office. The existing single family structure was to continue to be used as a residence. The POD zoning was approved for the then -applicant's use and ownership only. BACKGROUND CONTINUED The current applicants recently acquired the property and are requesting that the POD zoning be revoked and the previous R-2 zoning be restored. On January 9, 2020, the Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the revocation request. There were no objectors present. Notice of the request had been sent to the Heights Neighborhood Association. SECTION 4. That the zone classification of the -property described as all of Lots 7, 8 and the South '/z of Lot 9, Block 116, Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas is hereby changed from "I-2" Light Industrial to "UU" Urban Use District. SECTION 5.
