PROPOSAL: To obtain a conditional use permit to
add an inside eating facility use to
this existing commercial site zoned C-1,
Neighborhood Commercial, located at 1208
South Bowman Road.
STAFF UPDATE: During Staff review it was determined that
this use was now allowed in C-1 per Little Rock Ordinance
No. 18,324 which took effect September 1, 2000. Therefore,
the conditional use permit is not required and the item
should be withdrawn from the agenda.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the withdrawal of the
conditional use application.
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION:
(FEBRUARY 8, 2001)
Merlin Seamon was present representing his application.
There were no registered objectors present. Staff presented
the item with a recommendation for withdrawal since this use
was now allowed in C-1 zoning, per Little Rock Ordinance No.
18,324 that took effect September 1, 2000.
The item was placed on the Consent Agenda for withdrawal.
The withdrawal was approved by a vote of 9 ayes, 0 nays and
2 absent.
