3' A RESOLUTION TO SET OCTOBER 17,2023,AS THE DATE OF PUBLIC
4 HEARING ON THE APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S
5 RECOMMENDATION OF DENIAL FOR A PLANNED ZONING
DEVELOPMENT TITLED SAMPSON AUTO SERVICE PCD, LOCATED
7 AT 8315 COLONEL GLENN ROAD (Z-5981-A),IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
8 ROCK,ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a notice of appeal has been filed as a result of the action of the Little Rock Planning
11 Commission's recommendation of denial for a Planned Zoning Development titled, Sampson Auto Service
12 PCD, located at 8315 Colonel Glenn Road (Z-5981-A), in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
13 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14, OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the notice of appeal of the denial for Planned Zoning Development titled
16 Sampson Auto Service PCD, located at 8315 Colonel Glenn Road (Z-5981-A) in the City of Little Rock,
17 Arkansas, shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, in the
18 Centre at University Park, 6401 West 12th Street,Little Rock, Arkansas at 6:00 PM on October 17, 2023.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
20 by Arkansas State Law by publication once a week for two(2)consecutive weeks in a newspaper published
21 in Pulaski County,Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock,Arkansas.
22 Section 3. All persons who request further information about this proposed Improvement District may
2p view the documents on file with the City Clerk, 21'd Floor, City Hall, 500 West Markham, Little Rock,
24 Arkansas; or, to contact counsel for the proposed District: G. Robert Hardin, Hardin & Grace, P.A., 500
25 Main Street, Suite A,North Little Rock,Arkansas, 72114, (501)378-7900.
26 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
0 resolution.
1 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances,resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
