3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH ALL SERVICE ELECTRIC, INC., IN AN
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED NINETEEN THOUSAND,
6 EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTY DOLLARS ($119,880.00), FOR THE KANIS
7 ROAD AT WOODLANDS TRAIL TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION
8 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS,Resolution No. 14,803 (June 19,2018),as adopted by the Little Rock Board of Directors,
11 expressed the intent to allocate funds for improvements along Kanis Road; and,
12 WHEREAS, Bid 2237 was issued for the for the Kanis Road at Woodlands Trail Traffic Signal
13 Installation Project,and All Service Electric,Inc.,submitted the lowest responsive,responsible bid meeting
14 specifications of three(3)bidders.
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with All Service Electric,
18 Inc., for the Kanis Road at Woodlands Trail Traffic Signal Installation Project, in an amount not to exceed
19 One Hundred Nineteen Thousand, Eight Hundred Eighty Dollars ($119,880.00), which is the base bid
20 amount of Ninety-Nine Thousand,Nine Hundred Dollars($99,900.00), plus 20%contingencies.
21 Section 2. Funding for this project is from the%-Cent Capital Improvement Sales and Compensating
22 Use Tax Funds and the Limited Tax General Obligation Capital Improvement Bonds as authorized by
23 Resolution No. 14,803, Account No. TS40C33.
24 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
25 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
26 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
27 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
28 resolution.
29 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
30 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
