I cannot approve the WCF application for this site, as submitted. There is an indication that the tower height is to be
increased from 130' to 135'. This will require a TUP through the Planning Commission. There is adjacent residential
property and the 130 foot tower was approved by the Planning Commission. Also, when the original approval was granted
for this site there were specific conditions required related to screening and landscaping as follow:
1. a minimum six foot masonry wall or other fence structure with not less than 85% opacity
shall surround the site.
2. a row of evergreen trees, a minimum of 8 feet in height at the time of planting and a
maximum of 10 feet apart shall be planted around the fence.
3. a continuous hedge at least 30 inches in height at the time of planting and capable of
growing to at least 36 inches in height shall be planted in front of the tree line.
4. All vegetation shall be either of xeriscape tolerant varieties or irrigated and properly
maintained to assure good health and vitality.
I need you to resubmit plans which comply with the tower height and landscape conditions noted above or apply for a
Tower Use Permit. Let me know. -_
