Wilkes Quapaw Realty, Inc. 511 E. 7th Street Little Rock, AR 72202 Dear Tom: Enclosed you should find an approved copy of your Application for a Certificate of Appropriateness for Penzel Place Apartments located at the northwest corner of 7th and Sherman Streets. The Historic District Commission has made this approval conditional upon the provision and review of six (6) specific inclusions. They are: 1.5 1 board fence on North and West property lines. 2.Brick on structures to extent to grade or ground level. 3.Fascia at edge of roof to be 1 1 1 x 8 11 board with crown mold. 4.Bracketing or railing to be provided on exterior porches. 5.Extend chimney to cover exposed flues and provide chimney cap. 6.Bay window design to be approved by staff. Please amend your site/design plans to incorporate the above items and mail me five (5) copies. I will review them and distribute copies to the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, Quapaw Quarter Association and Mr. John Jarrard, Chairman of the Historic District Commission. Subsequent to their review and approval of said alterations, I will pass the final plans on to the City permit section for their file so as to expidite their process. I will send you a letter of compliance when all issues have been appro- priately addressed. I hope that this review process has met with your approval and was as timely as possible.
