Re: Hours of operation for 600 North Tyler Street
Dear Sirs:
Ordinance No. 17,933 adopted by the Board of Directors on February 16, 1999 extended the
hours of.operation for 600 North Tyler to run from 10:30 am to 6:30 pin daily. These hours were
later extended by Staff and not reviewed by the Little Rock Planning Commission or the Little
Rock Board of Directors.
A letter dated May 15, 2001 from the property owner requested these hours be revised to allow
extend hours of operation to run from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm daily. The extended hours were
approved at a Staff level on May 17, 2001. It was Staff s understanding at the time of the request
the extended hours would not cause any problems for the neighborhood. It appears this has not
been the case. There have been numerous complaints by area residents concerning traffic to the
site, the parking of patrons around the neighborhood, trash and noise spilling from the building
with regard to live entertainment.
I herby resend the approval of the extended hours of operation effectively immediately. Please
return to the hours of operation approved by the Board of Directors on February 16, 1999 (10:30
am to 6130 pm daily).
