3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH DELL TECHNOLOGIES, IN AN AMOUNT
5 NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED SEVEN THOUSAND, SEVEN
6 HUNDRED THIRTY-THREE AND 75/100 DOLLARS ($107,733.75), PLUS
7 APPLICABLE TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIFTY-
8 TWO (52) DELL LAPTOPS AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE LITTLE ROCK
9 POLICE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS,the Information Technology Department has demonstrated a need to purchase fifty-two
12 (52) Dell Laptops and Equipment for the new Little Rock Police Department Recruit Class; and,
13 WHEREAS, vendor selection for fifty-two(52) Dell Laptops and Equipment was made utilizing the
14 Arkansas State Contract No. C000001005008.
15 WHEREAS,the total purchase price for fifty-two(52) Dell Laptops and Equipment shall not exceed
16 One Hundred Seven Thousand, Seven Hundred Thirty-Three and 75/100 Dollars ($107,733.75), plus
17 applicable taxes and fees.
18 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Dell Technologies,for the
21 purchase of fifty-two (52) Dell Laptops and Equipment, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Seven
22 Thousand, Seven Hundred Thirty-Three and 75/100 Dollars($107,733.75), plus applicable taxes and fees,
23 for the new Little Rock Police Department Recruit Class.
24 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Little Rock Police Department, Account No.
25 110520-60200.
26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions,or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
32 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
