HomeMy WebLinkAbout16096 1 RESOLUTION NO. 16,096 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SPATCO ENERGY SOLUTIONS, IN AN 5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTY-ONE THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED 6 THIRTY-EIGHT AND 12/100 DOLLARS($61,538.12),PLUS APPLICABLE 7 TAXES AND FEES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF SIX (6) NEW FUEL PUMPS 8 AND INSTALLATION AT CITY OF LITTLE ROCK FUELING 9 LOCATIONS AT ASHER MAINTENANC, REBSAMEN AND CENTRAL 10 FIRE STATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 11 12 WHEREAS, the Fleet Services Department has demonstrated a need to purchase six (6) new Fuel 13 Pumps to be installed at Asher Maintenance,Rebsamen and Central Fire Station fueling locations,to replace 14 aged, high maintenance units currently used; and, 15 WHEREAS, vendor selection for six (6) new Fuel Pumps, meeting the specifications needed, was 16 made using the Sourcewell Contract Number No. 092920DVR;and, 17 WHEREAS, the total purchase price for six (6) new Fuel Pumps shall not to exceed Sixty-One 18 Thousand, Five Hundred Thirty-Eight and 12/100 Dollars($61,538.12), plus applicable taxes and fees. 19 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 20 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with Spatco Energy Solutions, 22 for the purchase of six(6)new Fuel Pumps, in an amount not to exceed Sixty-One Thousand, Five Hundred 23 Thirty-Eight and 12/100 Dollars ($61,538.12), plus applicable taxes and fees, to be installed at Asher 24 Maintenance, Rebsamen and Central Fire Station fueling locations. 25 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Fuel Account No. 600011-63390. 26 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 30 resolution. 31 Section 4. Repealer.
