3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH C&C LAWN SERVICE CARE, LLC, IN AN ANNUAL
5 AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINETY-TWO THOUSAND, NINE HUNDRED
6 NINETY-NINE AND 92/100 DOLLARS ($92,999.92), PLUS APPLICABLE
7 TAXES AND FEES, TO PROVIDE LAWN MOWING AND GROUNDS
8 MAINTENANCE SERVICES AT THE OAKLAND & FRATERNAL HISTORIC
9 CEMETERY PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, after the Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park Board approved the bidding of
12 needed Lawn Mowing and Grounds Maintenance Services for the Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery
13 Park,the City of Little Rock issued Invitation to Bid, Event No. 2195 for said services; and,
14 WHEREAS, four(4) bids were received for these services, and C&C Lawn Service Care, LLC, was
15 the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and,
16 WHEREAS, on August 10, 2023, at a Special Called Meeting, the Oakland & Fraternal Historic
17 Cemetery Park Board approved C&C Lawn Service Care, LLC, to provide Lawn Mowing and Grounds
18 Maintenance Services for the Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park; and,
19 WHEREAS, C&C Lawn Service Care, LLC, is ready and willing to provide these needed services.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
21 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized on behalf of the City of Little Rock Board of
23 Directors to enter into a contract with C&C Lawn Service Care, LLC, in an annual amount not to exceed
24 Ninety-Two Thousand, Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine and 92/100 Dollars ($92,999.92), plus applicable
25 taxes and fees, for a one (1)-year contract , with the possibility of up to two (2) additional one (1)-year
26 terms, or a portion thereof, by mutual agreement of the parties.
27 Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized on behalf of the City of Little Rock Board of
28 Directors to enter into a contract with C&C Lawn Service Care, LLC in an annual amount not to exceed
29 Ninety-Two Thousand, Nine Hundred Ninety-Nine and 92/100 Dollars ($92,999.92), plus applicable
30 taxes, for such services, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney.
31 Section 3. The funds for the contract are to come from the Oakland & Fraternal Historic Cemetery
32 Park Accounts.
33 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
34 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or

1 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution, which shall remain in full force and
2 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
3 resolution.
4 Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances, resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with this
5 resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
