3 A RESOLUTION TO UTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
4 EXECUTE AN EXTENSION FOR THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT'
5 WITH THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PULASKI COUNTY,
6 ARKANSAS, THE CITY OF NORTH LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND
7 THE PULASKI COUNTY BRIDGES PUBLIC FACILITIES BOARD, FOR
8 THE JUNCTION PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

10 WHEREAS, in 2003 an Interlocal Agreement' was made between the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
1 I Pulaski County, Arkansas,the City of North Little Rock, Arkansas,and the Pulaski County Bridges Public
12 Facilities Board to convert the Junction Bridge for public use including pedestrian walkways; and,
13 WHEREAS, the Interlocal Agreement' was for a term of twenty (20) years and the parties desire to
14 execute an extension; and,
15 WHEREAS, Ark. Code Ann. 25-20-201 to -108 (Michie Repl. 2002) provides for governmental
16 entities to enter into Interlocal Agreement's to accomplish certain purposes.
17 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an extension to the Interlocal
20 Agreement' with Pulaski County, Arkansas, the Pulaski County Bridges Public Facilities Board, and the
21 City of North Little Rock, Arkansas, in a form substantially the same as the previous agreement made on
22 August 19, 2023,via Resolution No. 11,578.
23 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 3. Repealer. All laws,ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
29 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
