I would like to have these comments heard for the record: I live at 19311 Quail Run Drive in the Otter Creek subdivision. In my 28 years here, I have witnessed the transformation of this community and the Highway 5 Stagecoach Road access from a two lane, poor lighted and lightly traveled artery into a four lane heavily traveled thoroughfare serving over 1000 apartments and 1200 or more residential properties, plus numerous businesses. And the morning and evening traffic is the busiest time of the day. Now comes this applicant who wants to add as many as 80 vehicles during the prime driving and traffic times. When Chapel Ridge apartments were under consideration, I voiced my opposition because there was not traffic turn or merge lane in their site plan. Since that time, new businesses and subdivisions have populated Stagecoach Road increasing the traffic problems. I can only image what a nightmare if we add 160 more cars during the prime time driving period. Also, the proposed location is not secure for up to 80 children to play outdoors with heavy traffic in the front and a retail strip center on one side. Please reject this application. Thanks.
