RE: Board of Adjustments Application
Dear CLR Staff,
We are pleased to submit David’s Burgers located at 200 S. Bowman Road, Little Rock, AR 72211. The
total site is a little less than acre. We are requesting a reduction of the front building setback for the construction
of a canopy system. We would like to provide customers and employees a safe, dry area to deliver food for the
drive-thru. There is no possibility of expanding the site due to the existing site geometry of the shopping center’s
drive isles and parking bays. We do anticipate high volumes of customers on a daily basis, which will serve
several little rock citizens.
There are several examples of canopies that are built close to the property line in the vicinity of the site.
The gas station at the corner of Markham Street and Alamo Drive has a canopy very close to the front property
line. Also, the regions bank at Bowman Road and Markham Street has a canopy for an atm close to the property
line. Lastly, the cleaners at the corner of Bowman Road and Markham Park Drive has a canopy very close to
the front property line.
