To Whom it May Concern:
We appreciate the opportunity to bring the above referenced Whataburger signage before the
Board. We are requesting a variance for the additional building signage noted on the above referenced
package as sign A3, B1 and B2 that lack actual street frontage per code restrictions. The above
referenced property is situated on a corner lot with shared front access, as well as, rear access to a
neighboring restaurant development.
Adding the "A3" set of "WHATABURGER" letters shown installed 17'OAH on the front portion of the
drive thru elevation, identifies the restaurant for traffic addressing the dual entry drive from Chenal,
while the logos "B1/B2" on the back elevations identifies WHATABURGER for the traffic flow entering
and exiting from the alternate rear development access. These letters and logos enable quick
identification of the Whataburger establishment to insure and maintain an even and constant traffic
flow for the ingress and egress for both establishments for this high traffic artery.
Although we do understand the current codes allow signage only for actual street frontage elevations,
we cordially request the above three signage additions for variance consideration. We appreciate your
time and deliberation to this important matter.
