In support of Request for Variance

This letter of intent is in support of my request for a variance to the rear yard setback on the
south side of my house. The intention is to add an in ground pool to be 15x20 ft total from the
25' rear yard setback a total of 7"0", The attached survey shows the proposed pool addition,
and the portion it will encroach on the setbacks.
We are in the final stages of planning our home addition that already has an approved variance
and would like to make our backyard as welcoming and beautiful as we have planned for the
house itself. It is our hope that we can expand our current living space to the outside, where
we can watch our children play and gather with family and friends. The rear yard is surrounded
by privacy fences and I feel that my pool addition will not encroach on my neighbor's privacy.
