The LLWAS is an early warning system for surface wind problems. Airport expansion has rendered the existing LLWAS inadequate for the current runway configuration. The relocation is required for complete runway coverage and the additional height will improve the reliability of information. We have recently become aware of a zoning requirement that requires structures have a minimum 100 foot set back from the street. The site currently has a 91.2 foot set back. In order to comply with city codes, we are requesting United Parcel Service allow us to move the LLWSAS site back 9 feet farther from the street. This will also necessitate lengthening the access road. The size of the site proper will not change. Upon your consent, a revised drawing will be prepared and added to the lease.
