Applicant Comments for Proposed Development
Applicant Responses are due no later than Wednesday, March 8, 2023. Please submit revised site plans, if applicable, along with any written responses. All documents should be submitted
to this email address for review.
RE: West Kanis Storage – Revised PD-C (Z-5502-K)
West of 17301 Kanis Road
Development Staff Comments:
Provide cover letter explaining the project.
Provide survey of the entire property.
Provide development shedule for the project.
Provide cross-section drawings for the project; north/south and east/west sections through proposed buildings.
Will the west portion of the development utilize the office within the east portion?
Will the project be gated? If so, show gate information on the site plan.
Will there be any outdoor storage (boats, RVs, other vehicles, etc.)?
Show the following on a revised site plan:
number and sizes of all new units
floodway and floodplain boundaries
clearly show (and label dimensions) that all development will be at least 25 feet away from the Floodway
any dumpster area with screening
All site lighting must be low-level and directed away from adjacent properties.
Any signage must conform with Section 36-555 of the City’s Zoning Ordinance (signs allowed in commercial zones).
Provide the filing fee.
Any portion of the site located within the Floodway must be zone Open Space (OS).
