Good Afternoon,
Staff has completed our analysis of the proposed use of the duplex located at 3209 Ludwig Street. Per our correspondence your client is proposing to use the duplex to house adults with
mild learning and behavioral disabilities. The proposed use is allowed in single-family and two-family residences (duplexes) as a special use which requires the applicant/agent to submit
a Special Use Permit Application. Special Use Permits are required to be heard by the Little Rock Planning Commission.
If every person residing in the home satisfies the federal definition of disabled, submit the SUP application for a group home. If not, submit the SUP application for a group care facility.
The application fee is $175.00, plus a $5.00 sign fee for a total of $180.00.
The next filing deadline is Monday, March 13, 2023 to be placed on the May 11, 2023 Planning Commission agenda. After that April 17, 2023 for the June 8, 2023 agenda.
