Applicant Comments for Proposed Development
Applicant Responses are due no later than Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Please submit
revised site plans, if applicable, along with any written responses. All documents should be
submitted to this email address for review.
RE: Z-9747 York Bed & Breakfast– Special Use Permit

Development Staff Comments:
1. Will the entire home be rented as a single unit, or will individual bedrooms be rented
separately?
2. Provide revised survey of property showing proposed new garage / apartment
structure.
3. What will be the maximum length of stay allowed?
4. The following is the criteria for a bed and breakfast as per Section 36-54 of the City’s
Zoning Ordinance:
Bed and breakfast hotels:
a. The occupancy fee may include a continental breakfast (coffee, juice
and pastry) to be served to paying guests with no full meals.
b. The owner must provide one (1) off-street parking space per guest
room and one (1) additional for the residence in use.
c. Allowable signage that is permitted by the single-family residential
standard.
d. No receptions, private parties or tours for a fee are allowed.
5. Show any new driveway construction on the survey / site plan.
6. Provide “Bill of Assurance”.
