1. Depending on the Level of care needed per each resident, will determine how many schedules
(units) or hours of care.
“Better Care Residential Facility” will also always have an Administrator and or Registered nurse
on call. We also have partnered with Home Health Care Agency of Arkansas who are a Medicaid
Provider and has over 35 caregivers employed with them at this time. We will be staffed to give
the best care to our residents.
2. Depending on the resident’s specific need of care needed. We will adjust the schedule
accordingly. We will always have caregivers on the premises. Some will qualify for more direct
care than others. Most caregivers will come in daily and be scheduled shifts. However, some
may require one on one client care, depending on the action of care needed for the particular
resident.
3. Level of care-
We will offer respite care services.
Medication reminders
Household chores
Shopping and Errands
Transportation to Dr. appointments
In home Recreation
Movie Day & outside recreation
Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and non-medical needs of care
Assist with meals, whether its meal planning or prepping or feeding
Assist families with chronic conditions such as-
Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Arthritis, Parkinson disease and more.
Some care givers will be hired staff to operate the upkeep of the residential facility. Keeping it
clean, cooking, and laundry duties, etc. They will have eighth our shifts. But some caregivers will be also
assigned to do direct personal care for the clients. However, that will be determined by Medicaid; how
many hours they will receive daily.
4. If you include the garage, we have six available parking slots. (See attached drawing)
Also, additional parking is available going down Drexel Ave. We also have a gated back yard
which could also acquire a paved area and be used for additional parking, if needed due to
growth. Some of our clients will be of age and may have some disabilities, which prevent them
from driving. The live in clients will not be allowed to have vehicles at this time.
5. Square footage of the house is approximately 1400 total. Each room is spacious enough for two
twin side beds, which would allow each tenant to have their personal belongings on their side of
the room. These 3 bedrooms will accommodate six residential tenants.
